    Forum Description

I was reading through the Introduction Forum this morning and was inspired by our member Brandon. He owns Redland Kustom Koatings in Muskogee, Oklahoma (every time I hear the name Muskogee, I think of Merle Haggard’s song…lol). Not only is Brandon a full-time cop, but he’s also a husband, dad, and building his own business. Oh…and he mentions that he is remodeling his home in his spare time (what spare time??? LOL). But here’s what truly impressed me…Brandon is doing this because it is something he wants to do.

There must be a balance in our lives to feel like we’re just not spinning our wheels all the time. Finding time to build a business can be challenging, relaxing, and inspiring all in one package. I know for myself that even though I may put in a lot of hours at our business, I get true enjoyment from doing what I love. I don’t see it as work at all! I can get lost in what I’m doing and at the end of the day feel very good rather than feeling drug out. I’m doing something that feeds my own interests.

I’m thinking this may be the case for many of you. You’re all busy with your lives, but there is something about working with guns and being creative that soothes the soul. Please feel free to comment on what has drawn you to Cerakoting and how you carve out the time to pursue your interest.
